To be held Newton Day 2015

On June 13, 2015, the Newton Fire Department will be hosting the Firehouse 5K Run and Community Walk. This event will be a fun way for the department to celebrate Newton Day while raising funds to replace aging gear and equipment.

Firehouse 5K Kickoff

The race will begin on the old railroad bed at Spring Street and Diller Avenue (near Camp Iliff and the Moose Lodge). Participants will then complete the course, which travels through the Newton Cemetery and the High Point Development, before returning to the cemetery gate at Halsted Street for completion. The race is officially sanctioned by USATF-NJ.
