Directions to our Event

The race event will begin at the intersection of Lower Spring Street and Diller Avenue (near the Moose Lodge and Camp Iliff). When setting your route using a GPS or Google Maps, use the address 280 Spring Street, Newton, NJ 07860 as your destination for the event.

From the East / Northern New Jersey / New York City

Take Route 80 westbound to exit 34B for Route 15 North toward Jefferson / Sparta. Continue for approx. 11 miles to the County Route 517 exit (sign says exit for Sparta / Franklin) and make a left a the light on the offramp onto Route 517 (also known as Newton-Sparta Road or Sparta Avenue). Continue for approx. 5 miles into Newton. Continue past the Newton Cemetery (on your left) and make the next right onto Lower Spring Street.

From the West / Pennsylvania

Take Interstate 80 east to Exit 4C (Route 94 North). Follow Route 94 for approximately 22 miles into the Town of Newton. As you come into the town square (you will see a large civil war monument and a beautiful old Court House to your left) follow the signs for Route 206 North (you will end up heading through the square and down the hill towards Hayek’s Market). Make your next right onto Trinity Street, then take your 5th right onto Stuart Street. Make a right at the stop sign onto Lower Spring Street. The event will be on your immediate left.

From the South / Philadelphia / Southern New Jersey

Take the Garden State Parkway or New Jersey Turnpike to Interstate 287 North. Take Exit 41B for Interstate 80 west toward the Delaware Water Gap. Take Route 80 westbound to exit 34B for Route 15 North toward Jefferson / Sparta. Continue for approx. 11 miles to the County Route 517 exit (sign says exit for Sparta / Franklin) and make a left a the light on the offramp onto Route 517 (also known as Newton-Sparta Road or Sparta Avenue). Continue for approx. 5 miles into Newton. Continue past the Newton Cemetery (on your left) and make the next right onto Lower Spring Street.

Parking nearby on Race Day

There’s lots of parking available surrounding the Newton Day festivities and the Race Event area. This is going to be a big event, so plan on arriving early to get the best spots!
